and Mars as they could transport heavy loads without actually using any fuel. An interruption stopped them doing this and they were informed of the treaty. The drozen were happy to accept that soon another race might evolve upon the Earth and Mars and that the resources there belonged to the future beings. However, the drozen maintained that no race would evolve on the moon and that they could use the fuel there until a new way was found to power their craft. The terms were accepted.
The drozen biological craft allowed for great usage of solar energy. The dull exterior would mean all the light would be used and the entire surface area could be made for using the solar energy. Drozen however were too used to excitement and daring. Their love of speed and power were just far too great to give it up.
The drozen success was to be Venus's downfall. The burning of fuel in the atmosphere slowly but surely put Venus on a one way track to inhabitability. A few drozen accepted the fact and gave up the need for speed and found happiness travelling the galaxy. Others though were determined and even discovered a way of soaking up the harmful gases with a special rock. This came to no avail and all the drozen eventually left the planet to rest in peace.
Now and again a drozen would visit Venus perhaps in the hope that it could mend itself. They saw the planet becoming a hotter more volatile environment; the plants and trees that came to adjust to the changing conditions were strange ugly colourless things. No fruit or vegetable, to be eaten and all the other animals that once lived there were no more. It was hard for those that revisited Venus but there was still some hope for the solar system that was their home. The increasing output of the suns heat was beginning to have an effect on earth.
Ever since sun-giver collided with the sun, earth had been able to contain an atmosphere and the bacteria there were able to live with the cool temperatures by seeking other sources of warmth Two billion years later the planet was warmer and green algae began to grow. Soon this would fill enough oxygen into the atmosphere for oxygen breathing life to develop. It was tempting for the drozen to try and speed up this process so they could live on what would be almost like home. But they decided to leave the fate of earth alone, only using it for their recreational use.
The drozen never lost interest in earth as it slowly warmed up and they saw animals similar to the ones that had once lived on Venus. It was now they realised earth would never be their real home. A species they had not had on Venus evolved, the mammal. It wasn't that they were in anyway inferior but just different, they knew interference with the mammal would be wrong. By the time the humans arrived the drozen kept their technology out of view and would do so until the humans could join them as galaxial if not universal beings.
Though for the drozen to leave all alone was beyond their comprehension, they had one more card to play. All the transportation systems on the earth, the drozen knew would be incomprehensible to the humans, as these were just mounds that could be mistaken as any old hills. In all four corners they built transportation systems out of stones and if that wasn't enough they built them a model that lies at the centre of the landmass.

                                                  The Now

Our Knowledge Of That Which Matters.

All that of what we know has in the past been greatly increased with advances in technology. This came about with the invention of the telescope and it was also then that scientific fact had a large obstacle to overcome. The story of Galeleo being persecuted for trying to present the facts and change peoples beliefs is a well-known one. Since that time it has been technology that has enabled to further our knowledge of the universe.
Now in the 21st century the technology is very complex and expensive, those privileged to use it have spent perhaps most of their lives studying the Astromic. This may sound ideal but when you have one type of people holding all the keys it could force us back to the Galeleo
